Summer in the city

Summer is a great time of year. For the most people in Europe it’s the time of holiday and rest. It’s the time when the weather finally becomes pleasant and inviting. There’s the time of outdoor barbecues, trips in the countryside and such. Still, summer may be as well spend in the city. There’s plenty of things summer offers in the cities throughout Poland. In smaller cities you can have a series of summer concerts taking place in the evenings under the sky, you can enjoy the city trips with local guides, attend all kinds of food festivals or simply enjoy your time in parks or green areas. Interestingly, it’s getting better and better in terms of outdoor summer offers – there are more and more bike routes, outdoor swimming pools or places where you can play basketball or other team sports. Outdoor gyms and recreational areas are also gaining momentum now.

Summer in the Polish capital

The same or even more goes with bigger cities. Polish capital offers plenty of summer attractions that visitors and tourists can choose from. Just think of the summer beach within city borders on Vistula banks or many parks abundant in greenery offering rest and relax. Wilanów Palace and Park organizes a lot of outdoor events during summer. There are concerts, exhibitions and events in all kinds of styles. Łazienki Royal Park is another place where you can combine rest and nature with cultural events. Here also you can choose from regularly organized events and performances. Don’t forget to visit one of Chopin concerts where you can listen to piano classics right under the sky. Nature combines with culture is a truly wonderful experience.

Summer in the city doesn’t have to be boring (www.) Summer in the Polish capital can be even more – both attractive and engaging. Beautiful weather makes all the attractions easier to enjoy and makes them look different. Just wonder in the streets of the Old Town and feel the light breeze and sun on your face. Summer awaits you, so pack up you things and prepare for fun.
